DC12 – AI-assisted design of high-performance and high-reliability probe technologies for EWS applications
Shehryar Imtiaz is a dedicated Computer Engineer, holding a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering and a Master’s in Electrical Engineering. He achieved a commendable CGPA of 3.60 out of 4.00 during his Master’s studies, specialising in the areas of Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. His academic journey proved to be an enriching experience; notably, he published a research paper as the lead author during his initial research year. This accomplishment steered him towards exploring innovative applications of Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence, particularly in data acquisition and modelling. With nearly six years of teaching and research experience, Shehryar boasts a journal publication and two conference papers under his belt. Before venturing into academia, he served a two-year tenure as an IT Executive in the telecom sector in Pakistan.
“It gives me immense motivation that I have been blessed with an opportunity for my PhD studies that is in complete sync with my research interests. For me, prediction of probe card key indicators using ML Model is an uncharted frontier and the possibilities through which fundamental designs can be optimised are endless. It’s an exciting prospect for me that I will not only be able to build a model for the above-mentioned purpose but at the same time, I will be able to train, test and validate this model as well. My goal is that this model would be potent enough to guide design and process engineers in optimising their designs..”
